Czech cement producer Cement Hranice, owned by Germany-based Dyckerhoff AG, saw its profit rise 12.1 per cent YoY to CZK561.5m (US$26.2m) in 2020 on sales of CZK1.797bn, up 1.2 per cent YoY. Czech Republic-based Cement Hranice saw a 4.7 per cent YoY increase in sales to CZK1.78bn (US$71.45m) in 2019. However, the company’s net profit fell 2.3 per cent YoY to CZK501m. Czech Republic-based Cement Hranice (Buzzi Unicem group) saw its sales rise 10 per cent YoY in 2018 to CZK1.697bn (US$74.59m). Dyckerhoff-owned Cement Hranice reported a one per cent rise in sales in CZK1.476bn (US$0.064m) in 2016. Despite reporting an increase in 2011 cement sales, Czech cement producer Cement Hranice company expects a decline this year the Euro zone sovereign debt crisis and a continuing fall in construction output.
